2011 Calendar

We are preparing for our fundraising events this year including collecting items for our garage sale to be held next month! We also will be making art to sell at Artist's Marketplace at the 2011 AATA conference in July of this year in Washington D.C. Please bring your suggestions for CEU topics for the remainder of the year. We will be hearing a presentation regarding advancement of the profession at this meeting for CEU credits! As of today (3/9/11) we are approved to provide CEUs for social workers! (LPC and LMFT pending board approval). CEUs to this event are free to NTATA members- Join NTATA today! |

Fundraising Garage Sale! At Heidi Tournoux-Hanshaw's home in Grand Prairie! Not only will we be raising money, but we will also send members out on a scavengar hunt through the neighborhood to find objects to use for our art to sell at the Artist's Marketplace at the AATA conference in July! Treats will be provided to all that choose to join us, and we will be making more art to sell! Please email Heidi if you plan to help on either day- this event was HUGELY successful in the past! Using our scavengar hunt findings from last month's garage sale, we will be combining all of our art products to date to start finalizing art pieces to sell, and will start making additional pieces using clay for beads, pendants, etc. We also will be gathering CEUs while we learn more about our profession! Specific topic TBD! |

This month, we need to finish tying up any loose ends for the Artist Marketplace art work! While doing this, we hope to hear another CEU presentation- which will be announced after the March brainstorming meeting! |

The American Art Therapy Association National Conference will be held in Washington DC this year! Join fellow art therapists from around the world, gain CEU credits, and have a great time at our nation's capital! Register here! |
