About Betsy

Betsy is the owner of Heart Works Therapy in Fort Worth, TX.

Betsy approaches counseling from a holistic lens of Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems Theory.

Jordan is the owner and founder of The Creative Counseling Collective in Cleburne,TX where she empowers women to achieve healing and success through creative expression.

She also serves as a Business Mindset Coach for Build Your Practice, helping clinicians across the United States establish and grow their private practices.

Nazanin Ahmady, LPC, ATR
About Nazanin

Nazanin has had an inspiring path that led her to pursue a career in art therapy. Her path started as a photography major in Iran. She became enamored with the therapeutic qualities of the dark room and the art process. This experience led to her fascination with the healing properties of artistic expression. Seeking enlightenment on psychology, visual art, and eventually art therapy, she immigrated to the U.S. to continue her exploration of art's role in the healing process.

About Gina

Gina was born and raised in Amarillo,Texas. She received a BFA in studio art from Texas Tech University. She then earned a master's degree in Art Therapy from the George Washington
University in Washington,DC. -
She is currently an ATR-BC and LPC working in private practice at Meyer
Counseling Center, located in North Richland Hills.
Gina's Passion for Community

Gina is passionate about art therapy and loves bringing people together. She feels honored to become NTATA's Membership chair, as it will provide opportunities to get to know other art therapists in North Texas. Uniting together will strengthen our special community, as well as offer chances for true support, encouragement, and ways to learn from one another.

Gina has previous experience within a similar role, when she was Membership Vice President of her undergraduate sorority. That experience has given her inspiration and ideas to use for the job ahead. Gina looks forward to all the beautiful connections waiting to be forged.​

About Jennifer

Jennifer currently works as a Crisis Clinician with 911 at the City of Dallas and maintains a small private practice caseload at Davis Art Therapy in Richardson, TX.
Settings and Populations ​​

Jennifer has worked with many different populations across many settings. Community mental health is very important to her. This includes her experience working as the Art Therapist for the Arts in Medicine Program at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas,TX. Where she provided art therapy services to hospital patients across various medical diagnoses at the bedside and in the open art studio.

She is deeply committed to the healing power of art therapy, works to foster creative self-expression, and reduce stress.

Jennifer has developed expertise in individual and group therapy,as well as crisis intervention.
Community Connection

Jennifer is currently serving as the Board President of Dallas Art Therapy, as well as supporting art therapy licensure efforts in Texas.
